The brands
Rose Royce is our broadest line: Angela, Randi, Celine, Lilly and Pixie sit between 59 and 69 euros, mostly straight cut with a mid rise.
Cruel Girl belongs to Cinch and is the classic women's western jean – Georgia, Jenna, Ada, Hannah, Amelia and Kylie, between 59 and 99 euros, some reduced. The Georgia also comes as a stretch version.
OSWSA brings the more fashion-led cuts: Cleo at 115 euros and the skinny Betsy at 109 euros.
Cowboy Classic is the straightforward basic at 59 euros, and Grace in LA is heavily reduced at 29 euros.
Fit
Straight cuts fall over the boot shaft and are the traditional choice for western riding. Skinny cuts are usually worn inside the boot. If you spend a lot of time in the saddle, look for flat inside seams – that is where pressure points form.
Frequently asked questions
Which size fits? The American brands state inches: the first number is the waist, the second the inseam. Rose Royce and OSWSA also give European sizes.
Straight or skinny? Worn over the boot, a straight jean looks right and rubs less. Worn inside the boot, a skinny is more practical because it adds no bulk.
Are these jeans only for riding? No. Most models are ordinary jeans in hard-wearing denim – plenty of customers buy them simply because they fit well and last.
How do I wash jeans? Inside out at 30 °C, without fabric softener, not in the tumble dryer.
